Teenage Casket Company Featuring Rob Wylde (Tigertailz, Midnite City) Releases Complete Anthology via FnA Records

What happens when power pop meets glam rock…

Teenage Casket Company featuring Rob Wylde (Tigertailz, Midnite City) was born in 2003 along with Jamie Delerict. The band resided in Nottingham (UK) and quickly became local hometown heroes.

FnA Records is releasing everything ever done by Teenage Casket Company; a complete Anthology for the collectors and newbies including rare hard to find tracks, demos, live tracks, and even a surprise or two. The FnA Records releases are called “Radio Hearts” and secondly the explosive “Static Memories.”

In the summer of 2004, Teenage Casket Company (TCC), began playing out, and as momentum picked up, the band started getting a following. So much so that the band was averaging about 150 shows a year. This included shows around Europe and a jaunt to America. TCC supported the likes of Danger Danger, Acey Slade, Mitch Malloy, Vains Of Jenna, The Erotics, LA Guns, Sign, Vain, Robin Black and TUFF.

The melodic hard rock power pop band comprised of Rob Wylde (Tigertailz, Midnite City) on vocals, the rhythm section featuring Rob Lane on bass and Mike “Spike” Hollinshead on drums. Rounding out TCC was guitarist and co-founder of the band, Jamie Delerict.

So how would one describe Teenage Casket Company and their music? “Simply put, Our music is all about huge hooks, great melodies and the biggest Chorus’ you’ll find this side of a Bon Jovi album. We take all the best elements of late 80’s/ early 90’s American Hair Metal, and throw in some 80’s Pop,” states Rob Wylde. “TCC are part Bon Jovi, Part Cheap Trick.”

In 2005, Teenage Casket Company released Dial It Up (here called Radio Hearts) to rave reviews. Just a year later in 2006, they released an EP entitled Eat Your Heart Out. Both of these releases consisted of catchy, fun, unforgettable sing-along songs.

In 2011, Teenage Casket Company had released a compilation album appropriately titled Best Kept Secret that included 10 songs from their first two releases (Dial It Up and Eat Your Heart Out).

From 2009 to 2012, TCC performed as a Trio. By 2012, Rob Wylde was dividing his time between Tigertailz and Teenage Casket Company, not to mention other projects he was contributing to on a part-time basis. In spite of Rob Wylde's commitment to the Welsh glamsters, Tigertailz, Teenage Casket Company released (in 2013) their second full-length album, the brilliant eleven song classic titled Still Standing. This album included the previously-released track “Best Friend Is My Radio,” a new recording of “Believe In Me” (one of the songs from the band’s 2006 EP Eat Your Heart Out), and nine brand new tracks.

In 2013 their second full-length TCC album with new guiatrist, Dave Kerr, released the brilliant eleven song classic titled Still Standing. This album included the previously-released track “Best Friend Is My Radio,” a new recording of “Believe In Me” (one of the songs from the band’s 2006 EP Eat Your Heart Out), and nine brand new tracks.

In 2016 the band released one final stand-alone single titled “Thinkin’ About You.” True to form, the digital-only release was full of all the brilliant, catchy, unforgettable melodies we have all come to expect from Rob’s songs.

It was decided in later that year that it was time to end the band, it had run its course…so Rob put together a final farewell show, and for that show, assembled an incredibly limited number of cds (50 copies) containing lost and/or rare tracks from the band. Included on Left For Dead was the band’s final single “Thinkin’ About You” as well as several demo tracks, live tracks, and a few rare stand-alone recordings that had never been included on any of the band’s previous releases. There was even a cover of the Beastie Boys Fight For Your Right (To Party).

FnA Records and A&R Rep. Jordan Stone are extremely excited to be bring the fans, old and new alike, the complete history of Teenage Casket Company!!
